The goal of Ayurveda during the First 42 Days is to restore the health of mother after her birthing journey and maintaining a healthy state of body, mind and spirit. Our virtual consultation is broken down to 6 parts.

Ayurvedic Mamas: Our Mission

This Ayurvedic Postpartum Care program was born from taking a close look at the physiological healing and the complete re-birth we go through emotionally upon entering motherhood.  

The practice of Ayurveda enables wholebody balance to return to a new mother's body in a way that builds resiliance, strength and vitality in the face of this new (or new again) journey that is about to begin. 

It is our mission is to shift the tide of what the postnatal period looks like for women around the world. It is our greatest wish to meet women everywhere, of every social economic background, as they enter through this new chapter.

Introduction to Ayurveda Steps to adequately prepare, mind, body and spirit for crossing through the threshold and into motherhood. Birth, the First 42 Days and beyond.

Nourishment Rebuilding vitality (ojas) through Ayurvedic self massage and other mindful practices. Remain centered and grounded through this time of great transition.  

Breastfeeding Establishing + sustaining your milk supply. Herbs, foods, daily practices, helpful home-remedies, and best tips that apply to the most commonly asked questions and concerns around breastfeeding. 

Rebuilding Agni Menu for rekindling digestive strength. You will be given access to our 42+ Recipe Ebook written specifically for these First 42 Days. 

Ayurvedic Herbs Ayurvedic herbal use for relieving depletion, promoting breastmilk production, and ease through the hormonal shifts experienced.

Meet Jenna Furnari, MA, CAP 

My name is Jenna Furnari, founder of Ayurvedic Mamas where we bring ancient wisdom to modern women from birth and beyond. I am Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner with my Master of Arts in Ayurveda, a yoga teacher of nearly 15 years and an Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula. 

In the last few years I have worked full time sharing Ayurvedic Postpartum Care. With a full calendar it has meant serving just 10 – 15 women directly in a 12 month period. Ayurvedic Mamas was created as a platform to serve and support as many women (new mothers!) from around the world as possible.
